Welcome to BSD Discord Server
Our BlackSharkDen Discord server is the place you will spend 99% of your time with us. This server is a place to gather all our community, discuss, exchange, create and of course fly together. With time, our server expand significantly in size and functionalities and it can be a bit intimidating for a new comer. Its structure has been evolving a lot over the years but by now, we reached a relatively stable state. You’ll find below a guide to its different channels. Keep in mind that, depending on your role (pilot/instructors/leader/engineer) you might not see all of them. Each channel is also color coded (in the description) as follows:
🟩: Public access – Everyone, including non BSD members can read this channel. Avoid posting any internal information such as servers passwords or others.
🟨: BSD members only – you need to be at least pilot to see this channel.
🟥: Restricted – These channels are restricted to either instructors, leaders, engineers or high command.
For channel at the top of the windows, you’ll find important icons…
The “Thread” icon 🧵 will show you sub discussions inside a channel. For example, a NORAM and an EMEA discussion within the Warlock AH-64 channel.
The “Pin” icon 📌 lists posts with important information linked to a given channel like the intro flight requirements in the sign-in channel.
